Certica® is proudly supporting James Morton, Chairman of AEIOU Foundation, in the upcoming Chain Reaction QLD Ride 2017.

Chain Reaction is a corporate cycling event that has raised more than $20 million for children’s charities since 2007. Senior executives with a passion for cycling and an awareness of their social responsibilities are challenged to take part in a demanding course over multiple days, not in a race but in the spirit of camaraderie.

Now in its tenth year, Chain Reaction has partnered with AEIOU Foundation and Ronald McDonald House for its Queensland leg, aiming to raise $1 million for the children supported by these non-profit organisations.

The 2017 Queensland Ride will start at Sydney on 29 April and arrive in Brisbane on 5 May, with 46 participants covering more than 1,000 kilometres in 7 days.

Dr James Morton and his wife Louise started AEIOU Foundation in 2005, following their experience of their son Andrew being diagnosed with autism as a child. Today, the couple continues to strive towards their vision of ensuring that families in Queensland can have access to early intervention that can greatly help children with an autism diagnosis.

AEIOU Foundation gives young kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) a lifetime of opportunities through an evidence-based program that develops essential life skills, confidence and independence. AEIOU currently has eight centres operating across Queensland, with plans for expansion in South Australia as well.
